ReVision collects only data required to operate core features such as authentication, reading actions, and usage analytics.

Account details, document/camera interaction metadata, and basic device information for reliability and analytics.

How we use data

To provide reading features, improve accessibility, troubleshoot issues, and show aggregated admin analytics.

Storage and security

Session and preferences may be stored locally on device. Backend data is processed via ReVision APIs and admin dashboard services. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) where supported.

Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed to operate ReVision:

• Account information — while your account is active, and up to 12 months after deletion for legal and support purposes.
• Camera images and raw audio — processed in real time; we do not permanently store camera frames, photos, or raw voice recordings on our servers after processing completes.
• Location data — used during active navigation; we do not keep long-term location history on our servers. Short-term operational logs are kept up to 90 days, then deleted or anonymized.
• Usage and diagnostic logs — up to 90 days, then deleted or anonymized.
• On-device data (preferences, local history) — until you clear app data, uninstall, or delete via in-app options.
• Support messages — up to 24 months.
